Overview
ToolFlow helps creators, students and professionals find the right AI tool for the job. Instead of browsing long directories, visitors type what they want to do — “how to create videos with AI”, “best writing tools” — and get a short answer with ranked tools they can use straight away
The challenge
AI tool directories tend to be long, flat lists that leave the comparing to the visitor. ToolFlow needed to turn a question into a recommendation quickly — and be discoverable in search for the many different ways people phrase those questions
Approach
The home page is built around a single search box with suggested questions underneath, so the first action is obvious. Content is reachable three ways: 17 categories (writing, coding, design, video and more), editorial guides such as “Best AI Tools for Students” with a quick-answer box and a ranked shortlist, and tool cards showing rating, pricing and what each tool is best for. The structure is designed for organic discovery — the sitemap lists around 170 URLs
